Antique Georgian Mahogany Gentleman's Valet Shaving Stand, circa 1820

An excellent and original example of a solid mahogany Gentleman's shaving stand and mirror, dating from the late Georgian period. Circular beveled mirror glass, with adjustable brass pivot and pole section, with turned mahogany grub screw mechanism. Over circular  stand with two lift up storage sections. 

Tapered stand base with grecian urn craving to three pad feet. Of exceptional quality throughout. Very solid and sturdy example.
