Antique Pair Arts and Crafts Oak and Rush Seated Bedroom Salon Chairs by EG Punnet for William Birch High Wycombe, c1900
A beautiful matching pair of oak bedroom chairs designed by E. Punnett and made by William Birch of High Wycombe, around 1895.
Carved wood frame made from solid oak, with thick woven rush. The stretcher at the front of the chair has been turned to create a decorative incised section. Incised decoration can also be found on each of the legs.
In good solid order throughout
