Antique French Art Nouveau Walnut Kingwood Triple Armoire Wardrobe, c 1880
An exquisite original oak framed with mahogany walnut and Kingwood veneer, antique French Art Nouveau period triple Armoire wardrobe. Dating from the late 19th century. Gilt embossed decoration to central pediment. Over large oval bevelled mirror door. Extensive inlay detail throughout the piece. Gilt mounted embellishments to top and sides. Tapered mahogany feet with brass tips. The central interior benefiting with a hanging rail. The left-hand side cupboard with further hanging rail and option for adjustable shelves. The right hand cupboard with adjustable shelving. Working locks and key. This piece dismantles into several sections for ease of installation. Good solid order throughout the piece.
