Antique Set Six Oak Arts and Crafts Gothic Dining Chairs, c 1900
An exceptional matching pair of six solid oak arts and crafts dining chairs , dating from the early 1900s. Purportedly they were commissioned for the Coronation of Edward VII and Alexandra in 1902 at Westminster Abbey.
Simple bar construction with Crown detailed finals, drop-in seat having recently been reupholstered in a heavy gauge green velvet fabric. Chamfered tapered legs. Good solid order throughout.
