Antique French Burr Maple Demi-Lune Dressing Cabinet, c 1850
An exceptional French side cabinet dressing table, dating from the mid 19th century. Decorated in Burr Maple, the top with glazed sliding door enclosing fitted shelves, over painted slate surface with floral and scrolled designs, above a single fitted frieze drawer. Pair of turned column supports. Solid panelled sliding door to base, revealing further fitted shelving area. Raised on shaped platform base with bun feet. A really beautiful piece.
